No. At Pharmacyexprezz you can book directly without a GP referral. Simply choose your test, book online or via WhatsApp, and attend at your chosen time.

How quickly will I receive my results?

Rapid in-clinic tests: 10–30 minutes. Standard lab tests: 48–72 hours. Specialist panels: 3–10 working days. All results include a clinical commentary.

How long does an appointment take?

Most blood collection appointments take 10–15 minutes. Allow up to 30 minutes if you have multiple tests or require a consultation alongside your blood draw.

Can I bring my own blood test kit?

Yes. We offer a phlebotomy-only service from £35 for patients with their own test kit from another provider.

Is this an NHS service?

No. This is a private, fee-paying service. We are GPhC-registered. NHS blood tests are not available at our premises.

Are same-day appointments available?

Yes, subject to availability. Book online or message us on WhatsApp to check current availability.

Are results processed by accredited laboratories?

Yes. All samples are processed by accredited UK laboratory partners. Rapid tests use CE-marked validated devices. All results include clinical commentary.

Do I need to fast before my blood test?

Some tests require 8–12 hours fasting (cholesterol, diabetes, some liver panels). We will advise you at booking. Most hormone and rapid tests do not require fasting.
