At Pharmacyexprezz, we deliver most Pharmacy First services by appointment only, providing quick and convenient access to NHS-approved care for our local communities in Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Acle, Beccles, Cromer, and beyond (excluding the earache pathway).
What Is the Pharmacy First Service?
Pharmacy First enhances the role of community pharmacists in primary care. Instead of waiting for a GP, patients can book an appointment online with Pharmacyexprezz for professional assessment and NHS-funded treatment for a range of common conditions, all from the comfort of home.
The service covers: – Clinical pathways for minor illnesses – Urgent supply of repeat medicines – Referrals from NHS 111, urgent care, or GP practices
Where clinically appropriate, our pharmacists can supply NHS-funded medicines, including some prescription-only options.
Conditions Treated at Pharmacyexprezz
We offer Pharmacy First consultations for the following conditions: – Impetigo (ages 1+) – Infected insect bites (ages 1+) – Shingles (ages 18+) – Sinusitis (ages 12+) – Sore throat (ages 5+) – Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (women aged 16–64)
Please note: We currently do not provide treatment for earache (acute otitis media) under Pharmacy First.
